Just north of downtown Chicago lies the incredibly beautiful suburb of Evanston. This town of 80,000 is home to prestigious Northwestern University, this area also abuts the lake and offers plenty of outdoor activities. Possibly the most famous of the Evanston parks due to its prime location on the lake. The tree lined park has a beach, volleyball courts, and walking paths. It is next to Dawes Park and houses Clark Street Beach.

In the northwestern part of town lies this large part. The walking/running trails are half a mile in length. They have outdoor concerts and festivals in the summertime along with all sorts of sports fields.
On the eastern side of the river, this park has a nice basketball court and plenty of open areas for picnics and parties. There are no reservations required. The bathrooms are clean and it is ripe for family fun.

In the northwestern most part of Evanston, closer to Skokie, sits this quaint park perfect for your next event. It is close to a few museums, golf courses, and creeks. They also have kids play areas.

This shady lawn is terrific for a walk and relaxing. It also has a basic playground. This park is ideally located near downtown Evanston. The green spaces are free to use.

Residing in western Evanston, this park had its construction completed in the fall of 2023. They have added exercise equipment and smoothed out the walking paths. Finally, the green spaces here are also free to use.
